Maddie Abelson (she/they) is a props designer and manager who graduated in December 2023 with a BA in Theatre Design, Production, and Technology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Their recent projects include Props Artisan for The Mountaintop, Jesus Christ Superstar, Boeing Boeing, Cabaret, The Shawshank Redemption, and Jersey Boys (Flat Rock Playhouse), Assistant Props Manager for Fefu and her Friends (UIC), Assoc. Props Designer for The Roommate, Asst. Props Designer for Boeing Boeing, and Props Designer for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. (Millbrook Playhouse).
